Ready two Go will be making appearances at two -- count them, TWO -- Minnesota charity events this coming weekend!
On the east side of the Mississippi (St. Paul), Ready two Go will be featured in a gift basket to be auctioned off at the St. Paul production of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues. All proceeds from this event will be benefiting Cornerstone, an organization dedicated to preventing domestic violence.
On the west side of the river (Minneapolis), Ready two Go can be found in gift bags at the Rock the Cause (RTC) concert. RTC organizes and promotes music events for other non-profit organizations.
Check out each of these events by clicking the links.
It's a big weekend for us and we're proud to be a part of both of these events!

Sexual Health on Obama's Agenda
President Obama has just a few things on his agenda as he rolls into office. Among them are continuing education and funding for HIV/AIDS prevention. Look at what has been recently published on the White House website:
Promote AIDS Prevention: In the first year of his presidency, President Obama will develop and begin to implement a comprehensive national HIV/AIDS strategy that includes all federal agencies. The strategy will be designed to reduce HIV infections, increase access to care and reduce HIV-related health disparities. The President will support common sense approaches including age-appropriate sex education that includes information about contraception, combating infection within our prison population through education and contraception, and distributing contraceptives through our public health system. The President also supports lifting the federal ban on needle exchange, which could dramatically reduce rates of infection among drug users. President Obama has also been willing to confront the stigma — too often tied to homophobia — that continues to surround HIV/AIDS.
- Empower Women to Prevent HIV/AIDS: In the United States, the percentage of women diagnosed with AIDS has quadrupled over the last 20 years. Today, women account for more than one quarter of all new HIV/AIDS diagnoses. President Obama introduced the Microbicide Development Act, which will accelerate the development of products that empower women in the battle against AIDS. Microbicides are a class of products currently under development that women apply topically to prevent transmission of HIV and other infections.

Destiney Moore in the Finals of Rock of Love Charm School
Make sure to set your tiVo on Sunday, December 21st at 9:00/8:00 Central time for the finals of Rock of Love Charm School.
The lovely, and dare we say, totally rocked-out Destiney Moore is competing for the Charm School graduation certificate (and a little bit of jing, too) against two other contestants.
Destiney has her own signature Ready two Go tin called "Naughty Haughty". 10% of all the proceeds earned from the sale of Destiney's "Naughty Haughty" tins is donated to the Open Arms Foundation, a non-profit organization that prepares and delivers free meals specifically tailored to meet the nutritional needs of inidividuals living with serious and life-threatening diseases. You can purchase Destiney's tin by clicking here.
Tune in to see Destiney rock her ROLCS challenges and charm the pants off headmistress Sharon Osbourne. (Check out some behind the scenes action HERE.)
All of us at Ready two Go wish her luck!
